The FIRST Classic Hardbat World Champion coincided with the LAST ITTF World Table Tennis Championships held in Houston. Players from Germany, Malta, Nigeria, Israel, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico thoroughly enjoyed Sugar Land, Texas. Sugar Land is a city just southwest of Houston, Texas. The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land features a salt water aquarium and a digital dome theater. Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center offers interactive exhibits, including a child-size city called Kidtropolis. In the south, trails wind through Sugar Land Memorial Park and Brazos River Corridor. In one of many truly EPIC matches over the years… Jimmy Butler again defeated AJ Carney for the Hardbat Title in front of hundreds. Little did Jimmy know it would turn out to be his last Hardbat victory over up and coming AJ Carney.
